Product Description Quickly and permanently restore stripped, worn and damaged threads in any material. Coil tension securely holds the insert in place without undue tension on the surrounding material. They are vibration and impact resistant and will not strip or seize. All inserts are made from 18-8 stainless with a hardness of RC 43-50 and tensile strength above 200,000 psi. Screw-Locking inserts have a series of straight segments to provide self-locking torque on the bolt, eliminating the need for other thread locking devices.
